J.I. Martin Lodge #701 was chartered August 1978 by the late Grand Master H.M. Thompson. Four distinguished brothers was responsible for getting this lodge chartered. Jesse Thompson, Jr., Osbey Beck, Jr., David Walls, Jr., and Willie Patton, Jr. are our four founding fathers of this lodge. The lodge was started because many brothers worked at night and couldn't attend their meeting during the weekdays. We are the only lodge that meets at the temple on Saturdays. We meet every 1st and 3rd Saturday at 9:00A.M. |
David Walls Jr. was the 1st Senior Warden of the lodge.
